Hickok 547a manual

hickok A resistor replacement question. R is open and in need of replacement. This is a k variable power resistor. I was able to measure from the sweeping tab to the unsued lug and it has K. This section of R is unused by the tester. This means the open and used section of R should have ~K. The TV-3 schematic did not quite match my I bought a copy of the manual from a web site. The A I believe uses the volt signal level for the NORMAL setting of the signal switch while the uses 5 volts.
